A GREAT DAY OUT FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY
AT THE COTSWOLD TEAM CHASE
SUNDAY 27th OCTOBER 2013
Local riders and businesses will be supporting three worthy charities at the Cotswold Team Chase, near Andoversford, on Sunday 27th October. The annual event is a great opportunity to spend the day with friends and family in the stunning Gloucestershire countryside, watching one of the most exciting equestrian sports around. Spectators will enjoy the thrill of watching teams of horses and riders race across country over some of the finest grass land and fences in the county. This annual event attracts riders from all over the UK competing for a place at the British Team Chase National Finals held next spring.
The Cotswold Team Chase will be raising money for three hard working charities, Riding for the Disabled - www.rda.org.uk which aims to help people with a range of disabilities; Combat Stress – The War Veterans' mental health charity: www.combatstress.org.uk and the County Air Ambulance, who provide immediate accident response to hard to reach locations throughout the region and depend on public donations to fund their life saving work.

The day gets underway at 9.00am with the Intermediate Fun Class based on a bogey time, immediately followed by the Intermediate Speed class, which is also the final for the ‘Coombe Farm Wine National Team Chase League’, for the team who has accumulated the most points throughout the year.
